Runabout Sports and the Blacksburg Striders have the Jaguar Chip Timing System. Runabout is available to be hired out to time your event. We supply the racing bib numbers and the chips. We can also use your bib numbers if you have a custom bib. Our timing chips are disposable.
We also supply the timing clock, flagging, finish line archway, stakes and expertise.
For a typical 5K race the minimum chip timing cost is $750.00 for our services. If you have over 250 runners it is a $3.00 flat rate per registered runner. If you have or expect over 1000 runners the cost drops to $2.30 per registered runner. A 1000 person event would cost $2300.00.
We also offer online registration at no charge for the event.
