WEEKLY STORE RUNS
Runs and walks take place no matter what. We will always have a person to run and walk with.
Easy run/ walk from the store of 3-7 miles (Wednesday on Huckleberry alternating with the VT course). Both runs start from Runabout Sports. Runs take place at 6:00 PM and are at individual paces.
We hope to work with local groups like the Striders, Team in Training, etc. to have a larger group and work together.We currently have 30-50 people showing up, from walkers to runners.
Runners that run 100 miles will receive the Runabout 100 mile shirt. Runners that complete 500 miles receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the store.
For walkers, it is half the distance. Fifty miles for the shirt and 250 miles walked for the $50 gift certificate.
Mileage only accumulates when meeting with the group. The store has a spreadsheet with everyone's miles.
